The stone facing water shape is modeled after the shape of trees stretching out from the cliff at the edge of the river. Its main shape is basically the same as that of the floating branches, so the key to the stone facing water shape is whether the floating branches are successfully made.

（1）造型中扶壮飘枝。如果使用截干蓄枝法，养坯时要放养飘枝，尽量不要修剪，一定要长到足够粗度时才能剪截一级枝，二级枝三级枝也是同样如此。

(1) Focus on supporting strong floating branches in modeling. If the method of pruning and storing branches is used, the floating branches should be kept in the bloom, and should not be pruned as much as possible. The first branch can be cut only when it is thick enough. The same is true for the second branch and the third branch.

成型后保持枝头稍微上扬，从飘枝基部到尾梢，留足3-5个三级枝。有的附石临水造型以辅枝结顶，用于稳定。

After forming, keep the branches slightly upward, leaving enough 3-5 three-level branches from the base of floating branches to the tail. Some of the attached stone and water models are used to stabilize the center of gravity with auxiliary branches.

（2）附石临水选用的石料多是险峻型的斧劈石或者钟乳石，一般要有两块山石组合搭配。

山石中间部位需要打孔开穴，或者加工两块山石的组合部位，把临水式桩材栽植于山石中间，即形成山腰临水。

（3）附石临水可选用弯月中深盆长椭圆形盆。适宜的颜色有灰褐色的岩石盆，紫褐色的砂盆。

(3) The long oval basin with deep basin in the middle of the bend can be selected for the stone and water. Suitable colors include gray-brown rock basin and purple-brown sand basin.

卧干式临水

Lying dry type facing water

卧干式就是主干卧于盆内，稍微上抬，主干贴近盆沿向外伸展，虽然主干伏于盆内，但是仍然有卧虎藏龙之势，给我们一种蓄势待发的感觉。

The lying dry style is that the trunk is lying in the basin, slightly lifted, and the trunk is close to the basin edge and extends outward. Although the trunk is lying in the basin, it still has the potential of crouching tiger, hiding dragon, giving us a sense of readiness.

（1）制作卧干式临水造型的关键是，接近主干基部的飘枝要上扬回旋，目的是为整体造型拉平衡，飘枝的顶部就是盆景造型的位置。

(1) The key to making the horizontal dry-type water-facing shape is that the floating branches close to the base of the trunk should be raised and rotated to balance the overall shape. The top of the floating branches is the center of gravity of the bonsai shape.

（2）卧干式临水造型实际上就是我们常见的卧干式，只不过有的主干没有探出盆面沿，有的探出盆沿横走。

(2) In fact, the lying dry-style water-facing style is our common lying dry-style, except that some trunks do not protrude from the basin edge, and some protrude from the basin edge to walk horizontally.

一般来说，卧干式临水的根部应有粗壮的盘曲根。养坯时要修剪根系，绑扎木条或者铝条，使用浅栽高围的方式逐步除沙提根。

Generally speaking, the roots of the horizontal dry type should have thick coiled roots. The roots should be pruned, the wood or aluminum strips should be bound, and the sand roots should be gradually removed by shallow planting and high girth.

（3）卧干式临水要使用长方形浅盆。成型后其探出盆沿的主干应在花盆尽头的长边，不能探出短边。

(3) The rectangular shallow basin shall be used for the lying dry type facing water. After forming, the trunk that protrudes from the edge of the pot should be on the long side of the end of the pot, not the short side.

单干临水式的表现形式为：主干接近水平方向向外伸展不下垂，枝干不低于盆沿水平面。

The expression form of the single-trunk water-facing style is that the trunk extends outward near the horizontal direction without drooping, and the branches are not lower than the horizontal plane along the basin.

（1）飘枝（枝托）要定位于主干基部，出枝点在盆内。如果出枝点位于盆沿之外，易形成不稳的观感。飘枝作为树桩造型的结顶，目的是平衡整体树形。

(1) The floating branch (the first support) should be located at the base of the trunk, and the branch point should be in the basin. If the branch point is outside the edge of the basin, it is easy to form the impression of unstable center of gravity. As the top of the stump shape, the floating branch aims to balance the overall tree shape.

（2）顶端的枝梢要平展稍微上扬。

（3）单干临水式要设置拉根和支撑根，根部要裸露。

双干临水式就是双干一高一低并行斜出，有的是一树双干（使用锯缝），有的使用萌孽条作为辅干。

Double trunks facing the water means that two trunks, one high and one low, are inclined out in parallel. Some are one tree and two trunks (using saws), and some use sprouting sticks as auxiliary trunks.

下部的枝干与单干临水式基本相同，上部的枝干比下部枝干稍短，微上扬，可以作为一个大飘枝，也是整体造型的结顶

The lower branch is basically the same as the single-stem water-facing type. The upper branch is slightly shorter than the lower branch and slightly upward, which can be used as a large floating branch and also the top of the overall shape
